Lionfish removal with “Nautilus” at Akrotiri Peninsula
July 19, 2020A lionfish removal was undertaken by “Marine and Environmental Research (MER) Lab” and the “Department of Fisheries and Marine Research” at the Marine Protected Area of Paralimni. 68 lionfish were removed from one dive at the artificial structures and another 16 from a dive at a wreck. A total of 84 lionfish removed from this MPA which was recently cleared.
