RELIONMED hosted at the radio show “Proti Ekpompi”

On the 24th of September 2021 (at around 7.30 a.m.), the “University of Plymouth” was interviewed on the radio show “Proti Ekpompi” (of the “Radio Proto” channel). The conversation was about the marine, alien species in Cyprus - including the rabbitfish, the pufferfish, the lionfish and other. The hosting radio show and the project’s partner elaborated on the impacts and interactions of the species, while focusing on the poisonous and venomous ones. Moreover, the efforts made to control invasive species (including the bounty scheme of the government and the RELIONMED project) were described. Furthermore, the talk expanded on the support provided by the government in such topics. We thank the show and the radio channel for hosting the project and discussing these matters.
