Lionfish removal from “Structures”, in Protaras

On the 11th of May 2020, a total of five members (from: the “ENALIA PHYSIS – Environmental Research Centre”, the “AP Marine Environmental Consultancy”, the “Department of Fisheries and Marine Research” and “RATs” of the diving center “Scuba Base” in Ayia Napa) implemented a successful removal in the “Structures” area, in Protaras. A total of 41 lionfish were removed from the area, while 15 lionfish escaped.
