Catching lionfish in the Cape Greco “MPA”

On the 16th of September 2020, the “Marine and Environmental Research (MER) Lab” conducted a lionfish removal in coordination with the “University of Plymouth”. The two “RATs” divers who participated at the event removed a total of 47 lionfish. The removal took place at the No Take and Buffer Zone of the “Marine Protected Area” of Cape Greco.
