2nd Lionfish Removal Derby

With success our second derby was conducted on the morning of 29/09/2019. For the first time we also had teams of free divers competing alongside scuba divers. 13 scuba divers in five teams and ten free divers in five teams successfully removed 101 lionfish from Konnos bay (from Cyclopes caves diving site to Ayioi Anargiroi chapel diving site). After the removal was over divers and organizer gathered at Ayioi Anargiroi excursion to count and measure the lionfish caught. Winners for most, smallest and biggest left on the day happy with their prices and all participants with bags full of lionfish to consume at home!
